Tom Green founded Green’s Hardware in 2005 on the same site where his family operated Green’s Stationery for more than 40 years. He had a vision to serve the town of Wellesley and surrounding area with an independent hardware store that offered old-fashioned service and convenience with an inventory that reflects the needs of today’s homeowners and contractors. During the past twenty years, Tom, along with an outstanding, experienced crew, has realized that vision. Green’s Hardware gives Tom the opportunity to greet his customers and serve them with pride. It is a family tradition he is proud to carry on. Green’s Hardware greatly appreciates the community’s support, and they look forward to continuing to be a part of this wonderful town.
Today, The Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a standing committee of the Wellesley Select Board, honors Green’s Hardware with a Special Recognition Award.
