Faber Rug Co has made our homes beautiful for 70 years and now we want to give something back. Today The Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a standing committee of the Select Board, Town of Wellesley honors Faber Rug Co. with its Special Recognition Award.
Faber Rug Company is a third-generation family business established in 1954.
Installing top quality carpeting throughout New England. Faber Rug Company began in 1954 in Wellesley, MA. Initial shops were located on Route 9 & Grove Street. With the continued support of valued customers and designers Faber was able to move to 19 Central Street, its present location. Today they have over 40,000 square feet of merchandise on two floors.
Their next 50 years: “Our mission is to expand our services day by day and deliver our excellent carpets and rugs from around the world. We offer decorators a wide range of high-quality products, with excellent customer service. We will continue to strive to give expert installations and ensure the satisfaction of our customers. We will do installation on the weekend if necessary.”
