Dedicated Service Award – Nathaniel Brady (Asst Fire Chief)

There are so many that serve our town that make us so thankful

Their stories inspire and delight and remind us we are stronger today and we thrive as a community.

One of the best is fireman Nat Brady.

Nathanial “Nat” Brady, a 33-year Wellesley Fire and Rescue Department veteran, was promoted from deputy chief to assistant chief. He took over for retired Jeff Peterson.

Former Chief Rick DeLorie said of Brady’s leadership and management skills would make the transition smooth. And it did.

Brady holds fire and rescue certifications including hazmat and water safety credentials. His experience on the bargaining committee for the local firefighter’s union served Brady well, in labor and contract negotiations.

Today The Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a standing committee of the Select Board, Town of Wellesley honors, Nat Brady, with a Dedicated Service Award.

Thank you, Nat Brady for your example of loyalty and love and courage.

You made our town a better place.
