Today The Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a standing committee of the Select Board, Town of Wellesley honors John Lanza as a Community Service Honoree
Here is his story:
John Lanza is a member of the American Bar Association. But here we know him for some other remarkable achievements. As Commissioner of the Recreation Committee for the past three years, we can thank him for the opportunities the Recreation Department offers us to play.
John embodies traits what we value in our elected leaders: Hopeful Positive. Gifted. And always sincere. His bright refreshing tone heard in Recreation Commission meetings and in Town Meeting shows his passion for the community and belief in the importance of getting it right.
John has been the Treasurer, Northeastern University School of Law Alumni Board. He and his wife Ann-Mara Lanza have lived in Wellesley for more than two decades and are proud parents of two young adults.
