Community Service Award

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to those public servants who quietly do the jobs that make our lives better. This is, after all, what the term public service means. We are grateful for those who will do the work – day in and day out – never forgetting why they are here, and whom we must serve.
Brenda Kelly Sullivan grew up in Wellesley, graduated from Wellesley High School in 1977 and went on to get an associate degree from Middlesex Community College.
Today she gets a well-earned tribute. Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a standing committee of the Select Board, Town of Wellesley honors Brenda K. Sullivan with its Community Service Award.
Brenda has been in Public Works since 1980. First for the Electric Division, then she transferred to the Wellesley Public Schools, and returned to the WLMP in 2005. She worked as the customer service office assistant until her retirement in 2026.
When not at work, Brenda was busy raising two beautiful children. She thanks all her supporters and the love the town has given her over the years.
Thank you, Brenda, for a job well done.
