Community Service Award
To improve the world “one child and one community at a time”.
That is the mission of the Wellesley Kiwanis Club. An organization focused on the common good, serving children, whatever their background, giving them a dream to follow.
Today we celebrate the Wellesley Kiwanis Club 100th birthday with a well-deserved award: Wellesley Celebrations Committee, a standing committee of the Select Board, Town of Wellesley, honors the Wellesley Kiwanis Club with its Community Service Award.
Every day, the Wellesley Kiwanis Club helps kids reach their full potential. To support
local kids and families in need, they create moments of joy that uplift for life. Kiwanis encourages and nurtures civic engagement and community service among our youth. This strengthens the fabric of our community for the future. We provide scholarships, mental health education, and volunteer service. Offering service opportunities and support for individuals and business members benefits the entire community.
